 Superted V

Blog & Photos - June 2008

31st May - Grenada

Anchored in Prickly Bay, Grenada.  Just to mention that on the way down to Grenada we sailed past an underwater volcano 'Kick 'em Jenny' - now I was a bit concerned that the sea might be a tad 'agiteé ' around this area but at the same time wanted to see what it was like - I was so impressed I just had to take a photo.... (you may notice one or two small waves)

2 June - Grenada

Sailed to Le Phare Bleu Marina, Grenada.  Spent 3 days cleaning (you probably think I must have some sort of cleaning fetish after reading this), sorting and preparing Superted V to be lifted out for the hurricane season.  Moved boat to Spice Island Marine to be lifted out - she will stay here until we return at the end of November.

May to November - Southampton

Nervously sat at home and checked the National Hurricane Centre web site every day.  Fortunately we had left her in the capable hands of Mark and Anita Sutton of Island Dreams - so with regular updates by email we could relax and enjoy the summer weather in the U. K.
